Duncan Macdonald has been testing R.E.H Forks with TiNi: 

“The fork action is noticeably smoother with TiNi treatment. Lab figures claim a significant reduction in friction, I estimate the actual ‘feel’ is around 10-15%. That doesn’t sound a massive gain, but the fork definitely feels smoother, and the stanchions are less prone to damage. I recently had a big '5' where the bike crashed onto rocks, the yokes were gouged and there wasn't a mark on the TiNi stanchion. It was really impressive."

Due to the obvious difference in colour to standard chrome stanchions, we cannot comment on acceptance of TiNi stanchions by every Classic Trials club
